Fernando is doing his PhD thesis on the impact of pesticide residues and climate change on the emergence and dissemination of antibiotic resistance in organically-amended agricultural soils. He is part of the Department of Conservation of Natural Resources (Soil Microbial Ecology Group), NEIKER.
