We are happy to announce that our collaboration with Biogenetics S.L.U. to work on biofertilization in sustainable agriculture by means of autochthonous mycorrhiza will continue this year (thanks to the BERRIKER program of the Basque Government). This time we will study their biodiversity in soils under organic farming. We will be dealing with issues related with the taxonomic classification of arbuscular mycorrhiza using next generation sequencing and the in vitro culture of selected spores. A good chance to get nice photographs of these unique organisms 🙂
